Cloud Engineer

Description:

Mayvue is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to join our team. As a company, we are in a unique position with a startup culture and a team of experienced individuals who manage a steady stream of business. This role offers both in-office (Pittsburgh, PA) and remote flexibility. You will be a key member of the company and team.

In this position, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts, collaborating with development, operations, and security teams to integrate DevSecOps practices, creating and maintaining YAML configurations and Kubernetes manifests, implementing and monitoring security controls, optimizing cloud resources for cost-efficiency, troubleshooting infrastructure issues, and staying current with trends in cloud computing.

Requirements:

Strong understanding of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps). Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Understanding of RDBMS systems (Oracle, SqlServer). Understanding of .Net Core Web Applications and Windows Services. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Ability to manage the vision, value, and scope of projects at strategic and tactical levels.
